Description

Introducing the ninth batch of the superb 'Heavily Peated' single malt from Glengyle distillery, Campbeltown.
 
Released in the winter of 2023, this latest batch has been created from ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks then bottled at 59.2% vol.
 
This release of Kilkerran heavily Peated is made up of 90% bourbon casks and 10% sherry.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Notes of freshly baked shortbread, cream soda, banana loaf and coconut shavings introduce this heavily peated dram.

Palate: The creamy, vanilla notes carry through to the palate in notes of buttered digestive biscuits and custard creams.

Finish: The peat is prominent in the finish, along with hints of gooseberries to round off this dram.
