KALD by Redcastle pays homage to Kaldi, the Ethiopian goat herder, who discovered coffee back in the 9th century when he fed coffee cherries to his goats, which made them playful and full of energy. 

KALD is also a nod to the Scots word for cold, which reflects our cold brew process to extract the best flavour from our carefully selected coffee beans. It’s also the perfect tipple to enjoy on a cauld day! 

Crafted by blending premium cold brew coffee with smooth rum, it offers a rich, invigorating kick.
