I bought this cigar out of interest after trying other Nicaraguan cigars and due to it being reasonably priced. I enjoyed this very much while drinking a rusty nail or two. I found it smooth and mild with a spicy peppery taste which was great to counteract the sweetness of the Drambui in the rusty nail. It took me close to an hour to smoke. Definitely a bargain and worth a try.

I've only had a couple of these since I got back into cigar smoking a couple of months ago. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with them. Easy draw on them, lovely taste and a satisfying amount of smoke to blow out. Not too hot either. I've found the wrapper to be quite well constructed on both the cigars I've smoked, so I don't know if the reviewers were just unlucky, or I was lucky. I would definitely have these again. Not the best cigar I've had, but still a nice, relaxing smoke.

Bought this cigar a while back as part of a bundle to pad the numbers because it was reasonably priced. Just smoked it over a warm lunchtime today and was pleasantly surprised. I found it ever so slightly spicy with generally an earthy, oaky flavour. Draw was a little loose for my liking but produced plenty of smoke. Ended up getting close to an hour out of it and really enjoyed it, but it changed my perception of cigars. Up to now I've been content with coronas and similar but the feel of a nice chunky robusto is quite pleasant so I can definitely see myself getting more of these.

As mentioned in previous reviews, an easy draw which I prefer, the wrapper held tight till the end, but the burn was uneven half way through, the flavour was a little harsh for my tastes, a little better than a Henry Wintermans, it took me a little under 20 minutes to smoke, good for the price but I've found I'm more of a medium to full bodied cigar smoker, again enjoyed the easy draw but that's about it

agree with the previous reviews about the wrapper being a bit shoddy on this one,and the draw being a bit on the easy side I think its because they feel a bit underfilled, however I enjoyed the flavour, sort of a slightly one dimensional spice that improves the longer you smoke it and complements the slight bitterness in a way I wasn't expecting, its probably a 3star smoke but for the price I give it 4

Lovely smoke on a sunny afternoon with espresso and a single malt. I decided to give these a whirl as a budget alternative to the beautiful but pricey Cohiba robustos at three times the cost and The ash held for a good inch, twice, before the burn became a little uneven in the final third, possibly due to me putting it down for a few minutes to go and refill my glass. I'd been a little dubious at first as the cut was a little flakey, but the wrapper held well right down to the final two inches. The predominant flavour notes were grassy and earthy, lots of pleasant-smelling smoke and no bitterness or overheating even towards the finish. Yes, the draw is very easy, which might take some by surprise, but if treated with respect this is a very rewarding 45 minute experience. I'll be stocking up.
