May have been an unlucky cigar but this cigar was one of the worst I have had, it was lightly packed, had a draw with zero resistance (I understand people may like that but not so much for me) slight unravveling near the cap had to relight twice and as mentioned with the light pack the filler seemed to split down the middle and have only half the cigar burning, the rich flavours did redeem it but the other features made it unsmokable and after trying my best to hang on I gave up halfway, I am really hoping that I had a bad cigar as the price is reasonable and the flavours were good as the construction held but it quickly went downhill for me and until I hear enough otherwise I won't be purchasing anymore.

Currently puffing on one of these in the conservatory on a blustery winter's day. Very nicely made, firm, cigar. Flavour is mild but compliments a fine Jamacan Blue Mountain coffee and nice glass of Jim Beam black. Cigar draws well and consistent even burn with fine grey ash. Hand made cigars can only be as good as the person who puts them together and I feel the previous reviewer must have been unlucky to get a few badly made ones, but I conclude that the Chap (or Chapess!) who put mine together is a credit to their profession. Slight leather notes to the flavour and just a hint of sweetness. This is the first of my Christmas cigars from Cgars Ltd and if the rest are of a similar quality then I'm going to be one happy kiddie this festive season!

A very nice smoke, well rolled, easy draw. Holds ash well, burns well and never went out . Tasted nice, mild, smooth and earthy. Really pleased with my smoke tonight. I had just one so can't comment on consistency but the one I had was perfect. For the price I'll certainly try a few more.

I bought five of these for a quick smoke at a wedding as I was under strict orders (!) not to smoke my regular cigars (1.5 hours + smoke time) so I thought these robustos would be ideal. I wasn't prepared for how quick these actually would be...10 minutes of trying to smoke them before giving up. On the day, I took two for myself and one for my son. My cigar was extremely loose, it was like sucking on fresh air. My son's had a void along the centre of the filler, like a thin pen had been inserted prior to rolling and then removed. I was gutted. I tried my second several hours later, again this was an extremely loose cigar, puffing away with not much action. I tried my fourth today and got success! It was a very nice smoke and burned very well. Quite a mild/medium cigar with a reasonable amount of smoke. I have one left so I will see what happens with that one. I want to give these 4 stars but I cannot justify that with having only one good cigar out of four, to me that is just not acceptable.I have no problems with the service from C.Gars, but I don't think these do their business any favours.
