Have now tried both the Petit Corona and the Robusto from La Invicta and they have both been very enjoyable smokes. Do they stand up in a direct comparison to some of the more popular Habanos cigars? No, but when you compare the cost of these cigars (especially when bought in bundles) you will appreciate the tremendous value for money. Ive only been smoking for around a year but my personal experience with Cuban cigars has been hit and miss when it comes to quality control and consistency, I dont feel like Im getting my monies worth from a £13-20+ Cuban cigar every time. My experience with La Invicta cigars has been consistent and I think thats incredibly important with a luxury product like cigars. Just bought a bundle of 25 which should keep my humidor stocked for a few months at least. Solid woody/earthy flavours from start to finish with some nuttiness and spice from time to time, as other reviews noted this cigar goes really well with a nice cup of coffee.

Fairly new to cigar smoking, smoked the occasional cigar in the past and thought lets get in to this pleasurable pastime a bit more. Well here we go! Nice constructed cigar, lit well and burned well. Had to relight once, but that could be because I take my time smoking and I was just short of an hour. Initial taste great, very smooth and pleasant but I felt the taste started to leave a bit just over half way through the cigar. Even ash burn and held well, good 2cms before it needed to come off.

I thought this was an excellent smoke. As a returner to cigars (King Edward VII imperial devotee in the 1980s) this one had an easy draw and only needed a small snip and lasted me nearly half an hour to the label - it was a great outdoor break on a long bike ride in the sun, quite a few different woody notes. Surprised to see comments above about quality as mine perfect, even burn and well constructed. Will definitely be coming back to these.

I don’t have a whole lot to say about this cigar. For the price, I think it’s good. Handmade, good construction, burned evenly with good draw. But the flavours weren’t spectacular. There was the usual nutty flavours along with a hint of caramel, but not a lot else. It reminded me of a big cigarette to be totally honest so, for that reason, I wouldn’t reorder.

A great smoke; easily matches some Cubans at twice the price. Get ready for a cloud of smoke, they burn well. Stronger than its Honduran cousin. Smooth, rich flavours. Should age well, if only I could save them.

Middle of the road smoke for me. The best thing about it is the construction. Lights easily, burns evenly and holds its ash well. A well made cigar at a reasonable price. It draws very easily (too easily for my liking) but it doesn't pack a massive punch in the flavour department. Its far from bland however it doesn't offer up too much in the way of variety- I found it to taste the same the whole way down the cigar. Its not a bad starting point for a new cigar smoker but there's nothing here to excite a regular. Overall it wasn't bad and when paired with a good coffee it did add to the experience of a chilly sea front fireworks display. Nothing to hate here but then again there's nothing to love about it either: a solid 6 out of 10 cigar. Chris
