This is an awesome cigar for the money starts off dark chocolates and develops into a taste I canÂ’t quite describe but was really pleasant, good burn and construction the price is great. IÂ’ll be ordering more of these

In my quest for a budget cigar that’s also a good smoke I tried the La Invicta Nicaraguan Panetela. Without a doubt this is the most disappointing smoke I have ever had. The burn was uneven, the taste bitter and acrid and the aroma awful. I managed less than a dozen puffs before I had to put it out. A complete waste of money. The quest goes on.

Nice stick for the price. 1 out of the 3 Ive smoked was a little tight but for the aforementioned point its no bother. Ill grab a couple in the future to keep in a humidor when I get one.

Test drove a couple of these over the festive period. First off take care when cutting the cap as it is small and seems fragile to me. The first one tore. Leaving that on one side I found this cigar to be quite enjoyable. Pleasing bouquet and flavour. Not quite as nice as budget Cuban cigars but enjoyable all the same. Taking price in to account and the fact that they are hand rolled you should give them a try. My only concern is build quality which seems variable.

Good solid construction and excellent wrapper, smooth with no defects at all. Easily lit and quite a light draw the flavours were sweet and nutty. There is little change until the final third whereby a spicy edge accompanied the sweetness. The ash was somewhat 'toothy' but an all round good panetela that provided 40 mins of relaxation. Good value for an excellent price

Like this stick's Honduran brother, this is not bad. First impression: The cigar was firm to the touch; not a lot of give. It had a mild tobacco aroma. Upon lighting, I was surprised to find that unlike the blurb on this stick, it had a tight draw that carried on throughout. The flavour is nice, with a rich tobacco taste and a nutty underscore. As I moved on to the middle third the taste got a bit stronger and richer. It was augmented by a woody flavour that added to my enjoyment. Again, the draw was still tight. I had to coax it to keep it going but still had to relight it once. Going into the final third, the taste remained consistent. I did have a quick moment of dread when I tasted tar - I began to worry it was going to be like the Honduran I smoked yesterday. However, it was gone as quickly as it came. In conclusion, this is a nice, medium-flavoured stick. Draw is tight, but the flavour is worth the effort. There's an average amount of smoke, and overall this is a decent cigar; certainly worth a try.
