These cigars are terrible, almost impossible to draw, as they are to tightly packed for the length of them and to compensate you have to cut more off the end than you would normally. This in turn causes the outer wrapping leaf to unravel and the cigar starts to burn down the one side making it virtually impossible to smoke after a quarter way through. Points out of ten 1.5. So sorry you didn't enjoy the cigars, some people prefer different draws so I think it is all down to personal preference. I'm so glad we managed to resolve this issue and I hope you enjoy your replacement cigars.

Good value and not a bad smoke. First time I tried a non-Cuban cigar and it is quite nice. The smoke lasts about an hour, though not as good as my usual Hanbano smoke but still I find this very nice!

From looking at its formidable 60 ring gauge and dense filler it would be fair to assume that this is an extremely intense cigar. However, once lit it may surprise you with its initially subtle flavours. There is a rich sweetness that gradually develops through the first two thirds, with occasion hints of fruitiness. Once into the final third the sweetness and the intensity get turned up to 11, with classic roasted coffee notes coming through. The construction is impeccable and the ash holds well throughout. I find these usually last about 40 mins for me, but I've known people to make them last well over an hour before! Highly recommended, particularly for the price! - Calum, Turmeaus Chester

I agree with Michael. As a new smoker I was quite intimidated by this fat little chap - I'm more of a robusto man - but it was much milder than I expected. Took some lighting because of size then easy draw, burned well, well made, good ash. Pleasant smoking experience, but I didn't get any taste from it. Not sweet and very mild - the opposite of its appearance. Lasts for ages, and if it's your thing fine, but if not then it just gets to be a bit of a long lasting non event. Very inexpensive so no complaints. For me though, I wouldn't put it as a disappointment more of an unmemorable smoke compared to some of my others thus far. 5/10

Nothing special and having tried quite a few in the range this is the one I wouldn't miss. There's nothing wrong with the way it's made, pretty good actually, and little with how it burns; an easy draw with a very even burn and lots of smoke but it did get quite hot. What lets it down is the taste because it never quite gets going, it is trying to but just as there's a hint of flavour it disappears. Not an unpleasant smoke just nothing there that would make me want to smoke another one. Considering how good I've found the rest of the range, in particular the robusto, I'm tempted to give it the benefit and say this was probably just a duff stick.
