Nomination of Inca for 'Best Brand Other Countries' at the InterTabac Cigar Trophy Awards Ceremony 2017.

It took us over 18 months since we started the project to get it exactly right - treat yourself to a meticulously crafted, unique cigar.

From wrapper to filler, with 100% Peruvian tobacco and 100% made by hand in our factory in Tarapoto, Peru. We have extensive quality control including having each cigar draw tested to ensure you get a perfect smoke with every one of our cigars.

Closer to a Nicaraguan in strength, but a unique full flavour, balanced and smooth with vein free wrapper and exceptionally good construction.

Many people have asked what they can compare these cigars with – Cubans, Dominicans? Hondurans? Nicaraguans? The answer is that you can’t compare them. The reason is that the other regions mentioned all make superb cigars and our Peruvian Puros are quite simply different.

Tasting Notes

The cigar begins earthy with mellow notes of cedar which develop into leather, coffee and an earthy creaminess. Medium strength, full of flavour and perfect when you don’t have much time but want to get the experience of a bigger cigar. Definitely a great cigar that will be easy on your bank balance!

I have tried two Inca vitolas recenlty and unfortunately both had a very poor draw so sadly would not buy again.

Great cigar. Im not the most experienced smoker but for me this tasted great. Burned a bit unevenly and it started to unravel around the cap but I think that was due to my bad cutting. Definitely buying again.

So here we are, May the twenty... fourth be with you. Lockdown partially lifted but no real intentions to go anywhere. So, it’s the back garden, a large strong coffee and the one single cigar I have lit this year. Been sat in humidor for 12 months I think? Prelight and I’m unsure: Montecristo are my favourites. Gently toasted (so I moved into the shade at bottom of garden), a few light draws to get it going and, wow. Super flavour, not strong or harsh but gently developing more depth. Burns even and holds ash well, getting woodier? as I’m now halfway through, but really enjoying it. In summary, I would recommend, and will be adding more to my humidor!

I have yet to find fault with any of the Inca cigars. They just hit the sweet spot for flavour, texture, consistency on just pure smoking pleasure. If I had to smoke only one brand and no other, this would be it.

I usually smoke Cuban cigars, but as Im now semi-retired I have had to review my budget. I was in Chester recently for a day out and lunch with the lads The youngest is 65! I called in to the Alf Turmeus shop and had a look at the New World cigars and settled on a couple of Incas. One being the Tambo. A couple of days later I smoked the Tambo and really enjoyed it. Plenty of smoke, plenty of flavour and I tried a little experiment with it. I dont usually smoke down to about 3/4 of an inch but I did this time to try it out. Consistently good all the way. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I will keep buying these cigars and save myself some money in the bargain.
