My first review of my first Hoyo Epicure No.1 Great looking cigar with double banding and very good construction minimum veining and very smooth The draw is excellent with tastes of fruit and malt in first and second thirds with spice coming in for the final third Burn was good with a nice aroma and lasted 1 1/2 hours To sum up the Hoyo Epicure No 1 Construction: excellent Draw: excellent Strength: medium throughout Taste: fruity, malt for first and second thirds then with added cool spice for the final third Burn: good Aroma: nice Overall: this is a fabulous cigar which in my opinion is better than the Epicure No.2 and well worth getting these in your humidor Score: I score these 93/100 Like a milder fruitier D4 will definitely be getting more of thes

Oooh yes, this is now one of my top 3. Very well rolled, looks good enough to eat, unlit aroma of sweet, floral tobacco. Lit the flavours ooze out, starting off mild (for a Havana) then eases its way to a firm medium flavour and body. Floral, cocoa, vanilla, very complex and delicious. Very creamy and smooth, unlike the Epicure 2 which is much spicier. Personally I prefer it over the Epi 2. written by A. Dyer

This is a nice size cigar with a great wrapper. Very complex with a lot of leather, chocolate and earthy undertones. It will fill the room with a heavy aroma that is very nice. The burn is good all the way through and the ash a grayish black in color. I never had to relight the cigar through the whole smoke. These are a very nice smoke any time of day and very creamy. written by Roy
