I agree with mmeadows and Dov. I have had these aged well and they were strong and creamy, without the harshe bite. I have had some young and they were not very enjoyable. Another risk is that they are plugged and end up being tossed. Be finicky when you pick them, unless you get them from this site. (they are good at picking smokable sticks) written by Max

Dont short yourself by smoking one young. These are quite complex and benefit greatly to aging. They take full advantage of the size. written by mmeadows
