Description

A subsidiary of the Angus-based Gin Bothy company, Hipflask Spirits offer a range of flavoured gins and rums that are more approachable in style.

Scottish black cherries and vanilla pods are infused in a base gin to create a rich, almost decadent flavour profile - this isn't a liqueur mind you, so there's a good thwack of juniper on the finish to lift things up.

It's VERY tasty in a glass of bubbly too.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Bright and rich sweet black cherries along with beautiful, creamy vanilla aromas with subtle earthy notes and piney juniper.

Palate: Sweet black cherries dance with the creamy, sweet vanilla with hints of citrus and gentle spices.

Finish: Black cherry and vanilla flavours build and develop into pleasant, warming fruity spices.
