Description

A limited edition of Hazelburn from the fine folks of Springbank. Hazelburn is their un-peated, triple-distilled whisky, and this small batch release matured for 15 years.
 
The 15-year-old Hazelburn Sherry Wood is an annually released, limited edition whisky that undergoes exclusive maturation in Oloroso Sherry casks.
 
This well-balanced dram presents a rich flavour profile featuring notes of toffee apple, leather-bound books, demerara sugar, and crème brûlée.
 
It has been bottled at a stout 55.8% with no added colour and no chill filtration.
 
Only 9,000 bottles were produced.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Notes of cherry menthol, red cola, datesyrup and black forest gateaux welcome usto this fully Oloroso matured Hazelburn.Soft fudge and caramel notes develop over time.

Palate: Rich yet balanced on the palate, there arenotes of toffee apple, leather-bound books,demerara sugar and creme brulee.

Finish: A lingering finish, there are notes ofrum-soaked raisins and vanilla sponge.
