Glenfarclas Cask Strength 105 - 60% 70cl

The Glenfarclas 105, a superb, full cask strength whisky at 60% ABV. Really bold and punchy yet the sweet, rich, spicy distillery character is still very much in evidence.

A very small drop of water is recommended to open up the flavours.

In 2004, the Malt Maniacs rated this the best “Bang for your buck” whisky.

Jim Murray rated this Glenfarclas a 95.5/100 in his 2015 whisky bible. Describing it as ' a classic malt which has upped a gear or two and has become exactly what it is: a whisky of pure excellence...'

Nose: Complex, oaky, fresh fruit of apples and pears, and a tempting dark toffee sweetness.

Palate: Dry and assertive but develops quickly to reveal a rich spiciness, combined with a hint of oak and sherried fruit.

Finish: Amazingly smooth for the strength; wonderfully warming and with a lingering smokiness.
