Description

The Glendronach “Ode to the Valley” is a richly fruity Highland Single Malt, matured in ruby port casks from Portugal’s Douro Valley alongside the distillery’s signature sherry casks.

Part of The Master’s Anthology, this expression highlights the depth of sherry cask maturation.

A true celebration of Highland whisky craft.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Notes of summer berries, chocolate, and apricot on the nose.

Palate: The palate is followed by flavours of blackberry, roasted apple crumble, gingerbread, and sweet damson plum.

Finish: Bittersweet. A distinct oaky vibe and cocoa powder give the dryness, along with some dried walnut skin.
