Description

The Glendronach “Ode to the Embers” is a rare peated Highland Single Malt, crafted in celebration of traditional malt kilns and enriched by sherry cask maturation.

Dominantly aged in Oloroso casks with Pedro Ximénez influences, it intertwines warm peat smoke with spiced complexity. 

Part of The Master’s Anthology, it honours the rich heritage of sherry cask maturation.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Notes of cinnamon-spiced toffee, caramelised walnut, and flamed orange.

Palate: The nose leads nicely to a palate of raisin, honeyed walnut, bramble ganache, and smoked chocolate fudge.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering smoke and a touch of honey.
