Description

A bottle of Glen Spey 8 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky.

We estimate this was bottled in the 1980s.

From the speyside distillery, interestingly it was reconstructed between 1979 and 1982 and closed between 1984 and 1989.

Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Opens fresh and clean on the nose running to a buttery vanilla'd quality.

 Palate: The palate opens with a gristy sweet character and develops to a sweetly spiced fruit tart.

 Finish: All this concludes to a slightly dry finish with an orange pith tang.
