George T Stagg 2022 Release is a straight Bourbon whiskey produced at the Buffalo Trace distiller in Kentucky.

The Buffalo Trace team release a batch within their Antique Collection every year, with this 2022 release of George T. Stagg being first produced in 2007.

Distilled in the spring of 2007, this extra-aged cask-strength Bourbon spent more than 15 years maturing in oak barrels before it was bottled at 69.35% vol.

They take a mash bill of Rye, Malted Barley and Corn before they mature it in Charred Oak Barrels for a minimum of 15 years.

The result is a 69.35% Bourbon Whiskey which is packed with flavour and is considered the flagship bottle of the Antique range.

This release is the highest proof in the George T. Stagg range to date! 

It displays rich, complex notes of toasted pecan, chocolate, baking spice and vanilla on the nose, with its full-bodied palate adding hints of black coffee, molasses and oak spice.
