Forget Brimont 1er Cru Rose Champagne - 75cl

Maison Forget-Brimont’s vineyards cover 18 hectares that are for the most part located on the terroirs of the communes of the Montagne de Reims: Mailly-Champagne and Verzenay for the Grand Crus and Chigny les Roses, Coulommes la Montagne, Ludes, Montbré, Sermiers, Taissy and Villers-Allerand for the Premier Crus.

Gold Medal winner at International Wine Challenge 2010 - Michel Forget is the sixth generation to continue the wine-making tradition of the Forget family.

This Rosé Champagne is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay.

Plenty of moreish strawberry and raspberry fruit, balanced by well-judged acidity from this excellent family-run producer.

This rosé is made predominantly from Premier Cru Pinot Noir Grapes grown at Ludes in the heart of black-grape champagne country, whose pretty cherry pink colour leads on to a delectable ripe, elegant, raspberry and strawberry-fruit-charged palate.

This Champagne is a wonderful accompaniment for red meats and fruit-based desserts.
