The La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull is a truly new concept within the La Flor Dominicana’s portfolio of fine cigars. The size is based on an old cigar mould that Litto Gomez found in Belgium.

Naming it after Andalusia was a nod to Spain, the country where Litto Gomez was born.

Litto Gomez and his son Tony collaborated on the cigar and spent a fair amount of time fine-tuning the blend. The result is a cigar that is as intriguing in flavour as it is in appearance.

Tasting Notes

First impressions are bold and savoury with strong notes of hickory & leather but it continues to take on a complex spiciness of saffron and cumin as well as a slight tangy note that brings the strength and spice together quite gracefully - and it only gets better with every puff! Gomez owns the brand and company with his wife, Ines Lorenzo-Gomez.

As someone new to cigar smoking and having tried several different brands, I can say that this is my favourite. I found it vary easy and enjoyable to smoke and would recommend this cigar to anyone who wants something to pare with a nice glass of whisky.


First let me thank La Flor Dominicana and (Dominican people) so much for this great Andalusian Bull Cigar. full body, thick and heavy, the draw, burn, and construction are amazing. luxurious varied bouquet of Flavors, aromas, and after tastes.. Such as ... woody, leather, papaya, coriander, green tea, and rich smoke. I will make sure keeps a large number of these woooow fancy sticks in my cigar humidors. Nice looking cigar, presentation and wrapper very enticing. I found it flavorwise surprisingly muted and mild at the beginning, creamy, with a hint of sweetness and nothing particularly exciting going on… very slow burn probably due to LFDs cigars sometimes having a thick binder. 2nd third is very similar to the first, but by the last third the intensity ramps up quite a bit and the strength gets more into the typical LFD territory. Strong. Construction, burn and draw were spot on with only a few minor touch ups required to keep things even. Only smoked one of these bad boys, may need to try another to appreciate it fully. Maybe my expectations as cigar of the year 2016 warped my experience?


A very nice cigar, burn and draw were a little off but nice flavours of caramel, sweet spices and some saffron.


I'm not going to describe the look and feel of the cigar. (superb) I'm not going to tell you how good the taste is in each stage. Buy it, smoke it. Take your favorite drink, to your favorite spot, and spend the next two hours enjoying. (personally took 2hours)

