Bit of a bargain to be honest, two absolutely world class cigars, each at least an hour long smoke, plus a decent all metal, slightly odd shaped cutter...although it ties in with Plasencias 'Hex' cigars, so does make sense.

Cigars are beautiful looking tri banded affairs with thick, oily, dark chocolate coloured wrappers. Cut with a guillotine it provided a perfect draw and massive amounts of cool white smoke.

This is a full on Nicaraguan powerhouse, full bodied and pretty much full strength, definitely eat beforehand. Lots of spicy pepper upfront alongside rich, earthy notes and massive amounts of thick, slightly sweet cedar. Adds some nice roasted nut and leather before finishing with bittersweet dark chocolate and coffee.

Flawless construction, zero corrections needed, easily better than most Cubans I've had in recent years.
