My Father Flor De Las Antillas happens to be on the first cigars Ive ever had the privellge of having. Upon every draw, youre met with a large variety of notes; including a light-oaky creamy mellow tone to it. I personally managed to establish a inch of ash before ashing- the notes still consisting through the cigar. Eventually, youre met with a bright vanilla note- an excellent way to finish such a cigar. The wrapper however appeared loose and uncatered for -slightly disappointing- such an elegant cigar. The smoke was quite suprising however I got used to it rather quickly- a pure milky apperance, absolute perfection. I will however will not be purchasing this cigar in the near future- it was however a nice one off experience.

First time trying a Nicaraguan as usually, I prefer Cubans, this was included in this months subscription. Sadly I wasnt too impressed, I found the draw to be poor and very bitter in flavour, no creamy, floral or fruit flavours as the tasting notes suggest. Overall the cigar seemed to me to be not very well constructed and the tobacco quite loose. As it was the first one Ive had from my subscription Im hoping the other 4 cigars prove to be more successful.

Was ready to give this cigar a screaming five star review as it suits my palate exactly. Creamy, nutty and delicious. However two thirds in I had to discard it as the final third suddenly turned into hard charcoal and was un-smokable. Ill put it down to poor construction on this single cigar but its a disappointing end to an otherwise beautiful cigar.

Good starting flavours, smooth smoke with some nutty and pepper notes. Unfortunately the wrapper peeled mid smoke and I had to abort ship. Im puting this down to just a bad cigar in the stock. Abit disappointing to say the least, however its worth puting in the humidor. I shall try again in the near future.

A light but full flavoured cigar. Even burn, developing tastes as it goes down. I’m not really one for forsaking Cubans, but this is a fine smoke. I enjoyed one last week in Red Lion square with a mint tea while playing chess on one of the outside tables and really felt that Autumn was upon us.

One of my faves! If I had the money I'd buy them by the truck load and age as they are sweet, creamy & smooth. Occasional bitter note creeps in but just another month resting would solve that I'm guessing. Always very good construction, worth the money in my opinion. I think I'm the opposite from Thomas, started with cubans and quickly forgot about them - for me a really mellow and smooth cigar is vastly important... cubans are just too strong for me sadly. But I do still love my Punch Coronations... actually have to buy some soon! The band is a thing of beauty, as is the little red sleeve at the foot of these cigars - very nice attention to detail!
