A pretty midling cigar for me. It was well made, but the draw and flavours were far too mild for my tastes. Another bud light cigar in pilsner clothing which a lot of US-marketed cigars seem to be. It did pick up in the final third to become somewhat of my expectations for the first and second, but sadly it was gone shortly after. Not a bad cigar but dont expect a flavour bomb.

Good smoke, burn and ash are excellent, draw a little tight and thus smoke on the thin side, earthy with a little pepper.

Strong and full bodied smoke but somewhat one dimensional in my opinion. Ive smoked several of these and all have been well constructed and had excellent draw.

I was very excited for this cigar ! I was eager to try such a well known and loved cigar. Unfortunately my experience was not all good ! The worst thing about this cigar was the burn. It was so uneven and unfortunately I had to re light and touch up this cigar many times and even cut it again as the burn was that bad ! ThatÂ’s the only bad thing about this cigar, maybe I just got a bad batch. The flavour on the other hand was good ! It was creamy and earthy, the flavour profile stays the same untill the last 1/3, when it changed to more of a chocolate/ coffee. Unfortunately I put the cigar out shortly after the half way mark as the flavours were changing due to the bad burn. Definitely a good beginners cigar and I would recommend to try it !

If this were a food it would be a decadent chocolate cake! I can’t give this cigar enough praise, stunning presentation, excellent construction, perfect draw. The dark obscuro wrapper promises, and delivers, a remarkably deep and intense smoke. There were veins and it did burn a little unevenly, however this didn’t detract from what was truly a delicious smoke, one that I burnt my fingers and lips trying to enjoy right to the bitter end. Flavours I detected were chocolate, wood, coffee, and a delicate whiskey aftertaste. It even had a somewhat peppery spice giving it a slight Cuban hint. Knocking off a star for uneven burn but other than that, a tremendous stick that I strongly urge you try!

Excellent cigar and one of my favourites. Smoke lasts about 45 minutes, with a slow but consistent draw. Band comes apart easily. Ash holds together well with a light to grey colour. The flavour is excellent and I would definitely recommend it. 4 stars only because I dont know what a 5 star cigar is.
