I would personally thank Mitchell Orchant, on this colab with Drew Estate. This is such a brilliant cigar, the aroma is sublime (spicey/leathery smell) and very creamy smoke. The notes I tasted where, coffee on the tip of the toungue after puffing out and after a few seconds a slight sweetness on the toungue, while retro hailing I got the spicey notes. I am sure that I could improve my technique smoking and preparing the cigar when lighting it up. It took me more than 1 hour to smoke, I have always enjoyed smoking cigars purchased from C.Gars. All though towards the end, the cigar did run a bit hot and the wrapper started to crack (probably my doing as I should have been patient enough) I with a slight bitterness on the toungue. A great cigar and would definatley reconmend this.

Fantastic smoke packed with flavour. Slightly uneven burn at times but it really didnt affect the enjoyment. This is really well priced and most certainly something I will be stocking my humidor with. The final third was top class and I would not have felt hard done by if this cigar had cost north of 25 pound. Really happy with it.

Straight into my ever changing top 5. First time I’ve had a drew estate stick. Lots of earthy flavours and hints of coffee balanced with spice and sweetness. Great draw, one of the best I’ve had in fact. Burned beautifully and even. Packs a punch on the last third. Very much an autumn/winter Christmas smoke. Would pair great with a coffee

1. Appearance & Construction. Cigar looked lovely. Beautiful dark brown wrapper, slightly veiny but smooth to touch. Label looked real classy. Just a small visible imperfections as there was a hole in the wrapper below the label about 1.5cm above the cap. 13/15. 2. Flavor & Aroma. There is a strong earthy, leathery flavor with hints of spice. Gradually developing into a more spicy flavor as the smoke progressed. A spicy-ness that lingered on your palette but in a nice way. Flavours were well balanced and didnt get bitter at any point. Gotta give the Orchant selection its dues they seem to be able to balance strength and flavor. Did feel that the flavor was missing something not sure what but regardless tasted beautiful. 23/25. 3. Smoking Characteristics. Cutting and lighting came easy with this cigar. There was however a small issue of the wrapper staring to unravel but caused no issue with the smoke quality just more if a little annoyance. Think this may be due to the little hole in the wrapper. Cigar burnt unevenly and required a few touch ups here and there, but sorted itself out halfway through the 2nd 3rd. Draw was delightful, and so easy to smoke producing beautiful plumes of smoke. Ash was beautifully white and stayed on the cigar to the very end. 22/25. 4. Overall experience. This was a lovely little cigar, and a pleasure to smoke. Flavor was lovely and stayed consistent throughout. Slight unraveling issue but still enjoyable. Got a decent 45mins out of it. 30/35. Total points : 88/100.
