Ive been trying all different kinds of Cigars as I am pretty new to them. When I lit the Churchill up, I was really surprised how smooth it tastes and how well it burnt. I think I found my go to.

A very good buy not for the price but especially for the price. Very well constructed and feels great in the mouth. Burn is great and not had to relight in the 6 Ive smoked over the last 2 months. Ive bought a couple of these tins and singles over the last 2 months. Definitely a go-to for a mild and pleasant smoke without it knocking you on your butt if you have things to do.

It’s hard to review this cigar as a stand-alone smoke, without considering where it sits in the Davidoff Dominican range. It’s obviously a larger format than the primeros at the same price, but I think there is a slight compromise for that. It feels like a more serious cigar but it also felt, dare I say, lacking in the usual Davidoff sophistication. It’s a decent hit of nicotine but it’s not as smooth as the primeros or the entreacto. First third left me hoping something would ‘kick in’, second third gave me a couple of lovely hits of cream and spice, which were disappointingly inconsistent and far too brief and the final third teetered on the edge of being hot. Draw and construction were fine, although mine was a tiny bit on the tight side, which I don’t mind I must say. The aroma is fantastic! Personally, I’d go primeros for the money, or spend a few more pennies to get one of the serious Davidoff’s. If the cream and spice ran throughout, this would be amazing, but then I doubt it would cost only ten pounds of your hard earned. Slightly confusing one this, which tends to result in a re-visit!!

Im still fairly new to cigars but of the 20 odd varieties Ive tried this is, without doubt, the best smoke Ive had.
