I’ve never left a review for anything every before but felt compelled to do so regarding this cigar. What a beautiful cigar, if you have never tried one then in my opinion you won’t be disappointed. Burns perfect, tastes exquisite, firmness is perfect. It’s an absolute pleasure and I couldn’t rate it highly enough, it’s now my first choice go to cigar. Very happy with the service from Cgars also. Enjoy.

Very well constructed and looked nice, of course.. and for the price so it should. However I despise flavoured tobacco of any kind, but thought this might win me over. Nope. I couldnt help but sense the natural oils of the tobacco were being tainted - whiskey isnt a flavour I want in a cigar anyway and the second half showed some actual acrid and bitter qualities. Id have given these 3/5 but for the crowning insult.. the draw had practically no resistance at all, a real wind-tunnel.

The entire Winston Churchill selection from Davidoff is worth experiencing but Late Hour shaped to be something special from the get go. Between the robusto and its longer brethren it is the Churchill that provides the definitive smoke largely due to the size and the impressive physical statue. Pleasure derived from cutting and lighting up this cigar as well as simply handling its deep brown coloured wrapper and the sheer weight of the stick itself is somewhat majestic. This smoker would certainly agree with some other opinions that the taste is consistent throughout its lenght with coffee and chocolate persistent but enveloped in unmistakable sharp grain resulting from ageing tobacco in whisky barrels. It is as satisfactory as sipping a good malt and certainly unique. This is one to respect and enjoy in peace and almost katharctic. If not for the immediacy it provokes with its flawless presentation I'd be keen to store and see how it refines in a humidor. Definitely worth ones consideration if the inherent strength and complexity can be overcome for those who prefer milder cigars.

Well what can I say. I've been looking forward to this as I'm quickly becoming a bigger Davidoff fan with every one I try. The wrapper is dark and oily without the slightest blemish. On the initial taste it's coffee and chocolate the after taste of leather and somthing slightly meaty. The only negative thing I would say is that you have to work to keep it lit and because of this got a little warm lower down. Smoked this with a Loch Lomand 18 whisky really good combination will be ordering more.
