WINSTON CHURCHILL
There is only one Winston Churchill and only one cigar that can do justice to the man. Davidoff Winston Churchill cigars present a blend as complex as the man himself.

PETIT PANETELA
Sir Winston was a raconteur, a lover of “les bon mots”. A teller of tales and a weaver of words, his speeches were as captivating in private as they were in public. The anecdotes would intermingle like the complex flavours of this Petit Panetela which starts a little earthy with hints of spice and liquorice but then, against a backdrop of floral and herb notes, it begins to gradually mellow out. Like the end of an evening in the conversational company of the Great Man himself.

Tried a smaller Davidoff last year and found it to be quite interesting so decided to try one of these. They are described as being medium/full. I found the cigar to be very light in body with very little flavour. Have to agree with Oliver - disapointing and lacking in personality. Whilst it was even burning the draw was very easy, so much so it smoked like a cigarette and as a result has to go down as the fastest burning handmade I have ever smoked. Therefore despite its modest price it is poor value for money. Taking all things in to account it does not fare well against competitors like Arturo Fuente for instance. As such I cannot recommend this cigar at all.

Nice Cigar but not for me. First third was very peppery which put me off a bit. Then it turned more mellow which was better. With some leather taste coming through. The burn was good and the draw good. Cant argue with the price for this cigar. Still looking for my favourite cigar.

Purchased abroad whilst on holiday. What a easy smoking mild cigar. Would rate as one of my best small cigars.

I don't get licorice or leather, but am impressed by the mature, fine quality tobacco flavours of this cigar, which belie it's budget price. I put the strength as mild- medium. Drew well, though uneven burn. The flavours intensify yet leave a pleasant taste on the palate. Into the second third it becomes more complex. Excellent post lunch or supper choice. The nicotine level is not excessive. If one were looking for a day to day smoke, with a good balance of quality, pungency and character, not many could beat this one at the price. Highly recommended.

I found this cigar underwhelming - its charming & smooth but for me lacked a personality
