A very acceptable cigar, the usual Davidoff 'build quality' with a solid wrapper and binder that encapsulates the consistent draw and flavour of the filler. A very lightly spiced pepperiness could be noted now and again but the main flavours were of slightly toasted almond and a hint of butterscotch and light coffee/chocolate notes. Held a good 1-1.5 inches of ash before it fell to the patio. Enjoyed it straight cut with a coffee, lasted around 40 minutes. Personally I would say this is more of a medium strength cigar than a medium to full strength as per the description but fantastic bang for your buck.


My first cigar from Davidoff. It was all I had hoped it would be. A great 25/30 after Sunday evening roast. I will be getting more.


So after my last Escurio which was not good, I decided to have another and this one was much better, it was not harsh and was smoother with a more balanced blend of sweet and spice creating a flavourful and aromatic smoke, much like a Petit Robusto Escurio Id had before. So looks like I just got a bad one.


Good burn and draw as usual on a Davidoff but the smoke was a bit bitter and peppery, not as smooth as I was hoping.


Another outstanding Escurio. Lasted fifteen to twenty mins and it just tastes like pure luxury. A small cigar that just gives you such pleasure. The wrapper is nothing less then the high standards of Davidoff. The draw is always perfect and this hasnÂ’t changed. Just a smooth, delicate and creamy smoke.

