Very tight draw to start, bit like sucking a thick milkshake through a straw. Uneven burn initially, started to canoe. First third flavour very light and floral, with sweet aftertaste. Sorted itself out by second third and developed a nice thick smoke with lots of spice and peppery aftertaste. Final third became a bit harsh; however, smoked right down to my fingertips so it couldnt have been that bad. Held ash firmly throughout. Middle of the road cigar for me but well worth a try and I certainly wouldnt say no to another. Tempted to sample its big brother.

I picked a few of these up on a recent trip to Chester. I mainly went for the shape as never had small double figurado before. But having now smoked two I can honestly say there a lovely medium smoke lovely ginger and earthy I really enjoyed both and available at under £10. There a really good built and great tasting cigar

Not a fan at all , just my opinion . Very tight draw to start with, then it eased up and began to unwrap it self . Falling apart as I smoked it. Utterly bad luck I presume!! The taste was overly strong and unpleasant, left a very light headed sensation. Don’t think I’ll order this again . Definitely not my pallet for that matter. However this is my opinion. Others might find the the strong cigar experience their forte, it was a strong smoke indeed.

This cigar claims to have a maduro wrapper but it doesnt. My wrapper had dents/holes in it and was coming undone even before smoking it. Flavourwise it was typically Cuban but for the most part I found one of the flavours to be a bit too much. Despite this there were times when it was quite enjoyable. The draw was about right although it burnt unevenly most of the time and needed correction. Overall its worth a try but for me it doesnt offer anything that would tempt me to give up the H Upmann range. Cautiously recommended. 3.8 stars.

My first impression on looking at this was , well thats unusual ! Compared to say a Montecristo #5 ( my default smoke) I thought it would be a really quick smoke given its diminutive size but was really surprised. The initial burn wasnt linear following I think the the wrapper torpedo shape but then despite this , it settled down, didnt burn too quickly and held its draw evenly, in fact better than the MC which occasionally I find hard work. I suspect the construction is probably firmer and therefore more consistent but time will tell. Im not great on describing flavours but I do like a creamier short smoke and this reminded me a bit of some smaller grand cru Davidoffs Ive had in the past in that respect. This is a lovely short smoke, exceeded expectations and something I will go back to.
