Boasting the classic flavours of The Glenlivet bound up in a creamy, smooth texture, this expression is our tribute to the one who started it all.

In creating a whisky in his honour, the folks at Glenlivet were understandably keen to do him justice.

The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve captures the distinct, smooth, fruity taste that he first envisioned in 1824 and for which is e still renowned today and because Glenlivet remain as dedicated to innovation as George Smith ever was, Glenlivet have given this classic single malt a contemporary twist.

This Founder's Reserve is a classic Glenlivet with a creamy and fruity character bolstered by the use of first-fill American oak to mature some of the whisky.

Nose: Delicate aromas of citrus fruit, but in particular delicious sweet orange.

Palate: Sweet, fruit notes of more zesty oranges and pears, with a hint of candy, toffee apples. All in all, well-balanced and exceptionally smooth.

Finish: Long, creamy and smooth.
