The Glenfiddich The Original is a modern recreation of the ‘first ever single malt beyond Scotland’ - the 1963 straight malt recipe invented by the renowned Sandy Gordon.

This non-age statement single malt has a sweet fruity taste with a superb dry spiced finish.

Tasting Notes

 

Nose: Fruity and floral with a hallmark hint of pear. This is balanced by subtle oak notes and a youthful, slightly biscuity character.

Palate: Pleasantly sweet with lively fruit notes and a soft vanilla oakiness. Adding a few drops of water develops the palate, revealing delicate spices, citrus, and a flavor reminiscent of fresh-baked oatcakes.

Finish: Deliciously dry
