Disgusting cigar, took a while to light and when it did it was a terrible taste. Bitter, earthy taste throughout it. Smoked it expecting it to change but only got worse, very disappointed.

Took forever to light this one up and had to keep puffing on it to keep it alight which gave it a horrible bitter taste and uneven burn for the first inch, but maybe it was over-humidified from my new mostly empty humidor. So I blew through it to clear the nicotine build up, ( it looked like dirty exhaust fumes!) then smoked it slowly to let it cool, then it began to open up slowly with a very nice just like a cigar should taste like flavour, and aroma. The final third got even better! But not as balanced as the excellent Novillo fuerte maduro.

Not a bad little stick at all Lit well .. burned pretty evenly after the first third however was never an issue from word go. Nice smooth creamy first third .. peppery vanilla second and floral third .. overall a lovely stick and for the price punches well above its weight.

This Cigar took a while to light but once it was lit it burned very well. The draw was very light and the flavours varied throughout. Overall, it had a slow burn and would highly recommend this cigar to anyone starting out.

I am relatively new to cigars, but wouldn't recommend this one. Very uneven burn, uncomfortable draw, harsh taste for first 1/3rd, poor construction. After about half was done, wrapper started to crack and unroll. Smoke just stinks and is very unpleasant. It has taken me 2hrs and 5 mins to finish it and I can't say I enjoyed it. The only good points - very fresh and spicey taste near the head, but cigar was already too hot to enjoy it, and no headache. Also coffee didn't help much and I couldn't pick anything intresting - just constant earthy/peppery taste with variable harshness. In this case - you really get what you pay for.

Bought two of these after having mixed luck with the regular Novillo. Very pretty little cigar, feels well constructed in the hand. Lit it up and things started to go downhill, very harsh tobacco taste with no discernible flavour and very uneven burn, agree with previous reviews, this is looking a bit like my girlfriend- in need of constant attention! Started to redeem itself about ten minutes in, with spice/pepper and honey notes, the loose draw produced tonnes of smoke and the harshness backed off a bit. I'll leave the other one to rest for a while and see if it improves with age, as when I've had a good Chinchalero they're fantastic value for money, but if only one out of three of them is enjoyable I may be better of spending thrice the amount per smoke on a third the number of cigars.
