IÂ’d be lost without this piece of small tech. Buy a humidor, upgrade and get it half price is a bargain! Or if youÂ’re upgrading a less reliable hygrometer, then look no further. The readings are accurate for me, double tested and itÂ’s plain sailing from here. ItÂ’s not as stylish as the Adorini time dial pieces that are built in some of their humidors, but I want accuracy over style. For the price, you cannot go wrong here.

Not a review as such, more a question Ive noticed just now, as ive just received some cigars from c.gars and just put them in my Boveda Acrylic Humidor, that the temperature reading on my caliber IV Hygrometer seems to be jumping between 69 degrees F and 72 degrees F every now and then (although as i type it seems to have settled on 72 degrees F, As a new cigar smoker i'm a bit panicky about getting things right lol so wondered if this is normal or should i calibrate the hygrometer again? Also, is 72 a bit high temperature wise? Anyway, other than being unsure about that ive always been happy with the hygrometer.

Reliable, accurate and very easy to set up. I feel a lot more confident having it in the humidor.

The Caliber IV is absolutely fantastic, what I like most about this hygrometer is the precision/accuracy, the digital display and it's slim but sleek profile design. Suitable to fit inside any travel/small desktop humidor. If you want an efficient and reliable digital hygrometer, pickup the Caliber IV (It's even supplied with the batteries!)

My first two purchases were the Xikar Hygrometer Rectangular version. On both of these Xikar hygrometers the tolerance is 2% either way whereas the Caliber IV is 1%. Both Xikars were not within specification using the Boveda Hygrometer Test kit. Bought a Caliber and popped it into the bag and within 24 hours it is reading bang on 75%, as it should. Both Xikars are being returned for the Caliber IV. Fantastic hygrometer with easy to read Relative Humidity (RH) and Temperature and on top of that you can alter the device if it does start to drift. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Go for one of these. You won't be disappointed!
