Description

Bushmills 12 Year Old is the new gateway to the distillery’s single malt range.

Triple-distilled from 100% malted barley, this whiskey spends 11 years maturing in sherry and bourbon casks before being married and finished for a further six to nine months in Marsala wine casks

An approachable but characterful Irish single malt with real depth.

Bottled at 40% ABV.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich yet smooth, it delivers honeyed sweetness, candied orchard fruit, roasted nuts, and warming spice, with layers of caramel.

Palate: Creamy, with hints of honey, caramelised brown sugar, and a lingering, slightly dry, spicy finish.

Finish: The Marsala cask finish adds a distinct fruity sweetness, notes of dried apricot, candied apple, and toasted hazelnuts.
