out with the lads for our monthly dinner , and as usual the subject was " the finer things of life " so when i produced this monster their was a few envious comments , oh ! what a let down , i normally punch , but with this wonderfully constructed smoke i cut ! obviously i didn't snip of enough and could not draw to well so i cut again and yes it improved , but although the flavour was good and somewhat intense I found that this cigar just would not burn evenly and it made the experience a task not a pleasure , so i think it's back to the faithful " cuaba's "

Just smoked one of these masterful cigars - afternoon after a light lunch with coffee and a martini. This is a complex, medium bodied, full flavoured Bolivar with the conicle tip which gives that extra little intensity to the flavours. A perfect and delicious balance of honeyed cocoa, rich woods, cream, light spices and dustings of fresh ground coffee and leather. It's full flavoured but not a beast, it's an extremely refined Havana, usually perfectly crafted. For me it is certainly the best Campana/Pyramide cigar, and one of my absolute favourite cigars and my favourite Bolivar. Nice when fresh, magnificent when aged. It's not unusual for me to nub cigars but this one even raises my eyebrows with how easily I can trully nub it before it gets at all acidic on the palate. A must try. :-) written by A. Dyer

After you've smoked Cuban cigars for awhile and have assimilated the typical strength of even a mild Cuban into your system you will want to be exposed to the delights of this extremely fine cigar. Full of unique flavor that will force you to maintain an ample supply in your humodor at all times. Unlike any other cigar, it delights in every draw. written by Tim Engelhart
