The Original Recipe Biggar Gin is aflagship product, produced in batches of no more than 140 bottles at a time.

Winner of the London Dry Gin Category of the Gin Guide Awards 2018, Biggar Gin is a very smooth and well-balanced spirit.

Biggar Gin was started by two brothers, Euan and Stuart McVicar in their own distillery based at the foot of Tinto Hill near the small town of Biggar in Scotland.

The gin features locally-sourced botanicals including rosehip, rowanberry and nettles, alongside traditional botanicals such as juniper and orange. 

Biggar Gin carries the core of a classic London Dry gin and tailors it with the personality and flavours of the Scottish landscape. Suggested garnish is fresh orange peel.

Tasting Notes

Biggar Gin combines a heart of juniper, citrus, herbaceous characters with gentle woody, spice and sweet notes, an enjoyable smooth mouthfeel.

The outcome is a flavoursome and moreish London Dry gin with complexity and impressive balance between sweet and savoury, freshness and spice, florals and woodiness.
