Description

The Benromach Organic was a trailblazing single malt when it first launched in 2006 and it still is today!

Each bottling follows the tradition of punchy flavour established by the first edition with this bottle giving sweet, tropical fruit characters with banana and cocoa. This edition was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2020.

Using organically certified barley and Virgin oak casks this 2012 vintage was bottled in 2020 at 43%.


Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet vanilla and ripe fruits accompany citrus zest. Toasted malt leads to green apples.

Palate: Creamy with soft pepper and butterscotch. Freshly ground coffee develops alongside dried banana and a subtle herbal edge.

Finish: Medium bodied and long with aniseed and cocoa powder.
