Crafted by Barrell Craft Spirits in Louisville, Kentucky, this bourbon blend combines straight bourbons distilled and aged in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana.
It starts with a mix of six- and seven-year-old high-rye, high-proof barrels, known for their earthy, spicy, oak-forward character, which are blended with softer, lower-proof eight-year-old bourbon barrels that bring dark cherry and butterscotch notes.
After two months of marrying, the blend is enhanced with 13-year-old barrels, some imparting tropical fruit flavours, while others offer dried and candied fruit notes.
The mash bill consists of 78% corn, 18% rye, and 4% malted barley, aged in American white oak barrels and bottled at cask strength.
Nose: Apricot, black cherry, cinnamon, and subtle notes of toffee and dark vanilla bean.
Palate: A bold, flavorful wave of baking spice and ginger that fades into red fruits, flamed citrus, and milk chocolate.
Finish: Long, warm, and lingering with notes of cherry cola, cocoa powder, and toasted oak.
