Amrut Distilleries, established in 1948 in Bangalore, India, emerged onto the global stage by transforming traditional methods into a refined crafting process suitable for the unique Indian climate.

Known for being one of the first to produce single malt whiskies in India, Amrut has carved a niche in the whisky world with its bold and innovative expressions.

Distilled in 2016 and matured in an ex-bourbon cask.

This single cask release is bottled at an impressive 60% ABV, capturing the pure essence and vibrant intensity of the spirit.

One of only 143 bottles produced, a real collectors item! 

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Great elegance and charm on the nose.

Palate: A very pleasant, rich and smooth taste in the mouth. Lovely texture.

Finish: Elegant long lasting aftertaste.
