American Blends Kentucky N (Formerly Kentucky Nougat) Pipe Tobacco (Loose)

Not bad, but nothing to write home about. Tin note is very nice, room note does not particularly smell of nougat, just warm and pleasant. I asked my wife what she thought and she said it just smelled like a nice tobacco, and when I said it was nougat she said she definitely didn't get that aroma, and she has a pretty good sense of smell. I never left this out to dry so it needed quite a few relight at the start but I never got any tongue bite from it, so it's quite mild. I did find this reminiscent of C&Ds Autumn Evening, but I think I'd just go for that blend instead of this one if that's what I wanted. A nice smoke, but there are better out there.

Disappointingly dull. Considering this is the company that produced coffee and caramel, there's very little flavour to be had from this. All you're left with is the base tobacco which tastes like filler. The rest of this sample will be tipped into my pensioners mix and likely never tasted again.

Very aromatic on opening the bag, the aroma/room note on lighting is amazing, but the taste is very mild and light compared to the actual smell. Quite nice and mellow overall - I actually got tongue bite with this, but I think that was more my own fault as it was outdoors and a little windy, so I was puffing quite hard to get it lit before the lighter went out!

Tried a 10gram sampler of this tobacco , amongst others. This is the most pleasurable I have tried so far. Get some lovely flavoursome smoke from it. Would recommend.

American Blends Kentucky Nougat - Beautiful aroma in the packet. Not too sleepy or wakey-wakey, hangs somewhere inbetween and makes for a good all-purpose, anytime smoke. As with the coffee caramel, I found that the flavouring lingered somewhat, but the room note and smooth smoke more than made up for it.

I’m new smoking with a pipe. It’s more of a skill and art form than many might imagine. This has been one of my best tobaccos out of the three I bought. It’s relaxing yet can stimulate your philosophical senses. The taste isn’t overpowering and it stayed lit well, whereas my other tobaccos where a little more challenging being new to pipe smoking. This one I’d advise for someone new to using a pipe. It also mixes very well with L&B Menthol normal cigarette tobacco which made a good companion and mixture for my tastes!
