Description Ref # DUN614B

Among one of the top collectible lines from Alfred Dunhill (White Spot), the Snake Pipe in the Billiard shape with a tapered mouthpiece.

With intricately detailed scaling, the 18ct gold snake wraps round the bowl, enhancing the warm root briar colouring, with diamonds inlaid within the eyes to make it even more striking.

Presented in a black high polish laquer box.

Dunhill pipes have the long standing reputation of being the best high grade pipes available. Each Dunhill pipe is hand made, using only the best quality briar available, Only 7% of all pipe bowls cut from this briar are good enough to be a Dunhill Shell Briar Pipe and only 1% make it to be Amber Root.

A little history of Alfred Dunhill:

Alfred Dunhill, famous for supplying briar smoking pipes to the most elite clientele in the world since 1904.
He had only two principles that would guide the production of Dunhill Pipes:

Firstly: pipes would be made of only the finest quality briar, with exacting care by expert craftsmen.
Secondly: the pipes would be priced accordingly so that the customer would recognise the value of a product.
The Dunhill pipe is made to last a lifetime. The pipe smokes well and continues to do so with age.

In 1915, the famous white spot pipe range was introduced when customers had trouble knowing which way to insert the handmade vulcanite mouthpieces, In solution of this Alfred Dunhill ordered white spots to be placed on the upper side of the stem. This would now become a trademark of Dunhill pipes and the “white spot” soon became known as a symbol of quality.

This pipe has been individually photographed, so that the pipe you see in the picture is the pipe you will receive.
