The band was a bit different to the one imaged. Earthy and spicy aromas out of the cellophane albeit a little one dimensional. Cold draw was pleasant but similarly one dimensional. Initially and throughout the first 3rd it was very strong in black pepper. I'm sure there were other spice notes present but they just couldn't come through. That changed rather dramatically into the second 3rd. Sweet notes came through gently with some very faint cherry and peach as the pepper continued but eased off quite a bit. The smoke was very creamy through the best section of this cigar. I still didn't get much in the way of complexity though. The final third began with a very slight bitterness that wasn't unenjoyable but increased towards the end. The creaminess faded and some of the other spice flavours poked through with some faint cardamom and nutmeg although, again, not a particularly complex profile. Draw was firm but good with fair to good smoke production. Slightly on the ashy side and burned a little unevenly although not too bad with some touch ups. It needed to be relit once but not too much bother. The construction was mostly good with a slight crack in the wrapper at the start of the final 3rd that caused little issue to the experience. I love black pepper as a forward flavour but this started a bit strong even for me and I would have enjoyed some woody, floral, botanical or earthy tones to just mix up the profile a bit. A very enjoyable smoke overall. If it were £2 cheaper it would definitely have hit 4 stars and it would easily be 5 out of 5 if it were £10. Would probably buy again but I wouldn't invest in a box at £15 each.

First cigar I've ever had. Never been a smoker. This is a smooth cigar from my point of view. No problems at all! Great taste, nice relaxing smoke and I still have a quater as I'm writing this! (Been about 45 mins) Thoroughly enjoyable

Picked one of these up in the St James store today. A really nice smoke for a fantastic price. Lots of black pepper and coffee, always a favourite flavour profile for me. Notes of cinnamon, orange and toffee keeps the interest going over the roughly 40 minutes smoking time. I paired it with a dark Christmas ale which suited it well. I usually go for a bigger ring gage but would really recommend this.

For the only, you cannot go wrong with this smoke. Bought a box for my stag do and there was a mix of cigar smokers and non, all really enjoyed. Perfect mix of flavour and smoothness! Will be reordering.

This was an absolute cracker of a cigar for the price. In fact it was not a cigar it was a love affair. If this is the standard of the Orchant Seleccion I for one will be following the seleccion cigars closely. At just over a tenner you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Beautiful draw, full flavour and slow burning. I will definitely be buying more of these.
