Smoke time: 60 minutes ### Cigar Review Presentation and Construction This cigar impresses right from the start with its stylish design and attractive wrapper. The band is tastefully done, adding a touch of elegance to the overall appearance. The wrapper is smooth, with a slight sheen, and the cigar feels firm and well-constructed. It?s clear that care was taken in its craftsmanship, as there are no noticeable soft spots, and the seams are tight and nearly invisible. First Third: Light Cedar and Aromatic Spice Upon lighting, the cigar reveals a rich and smooth flavor profile that is immediately engaging. The initial draw offers light notes of cedar, complemented by a subtle aromatic spice that lingers on the palate. The flavor is reminiscent of an old-school Cuban cigar, perhaps something akin to a Trinidad, with a delicate sweetness that adds to its charm. The draw is decent, with just the right amount of resistance, allowing for a steady and consistent burn. The smoke is mellow, yet full-bodied enough to be satisfying. Second Third: Growing Complexity As the cigar progresses into the second third, the flavor profile becomes more complex, yet remains beautifully balanced. The initial cedar notes are joined by richer, more developed flavors, which enhance the overall smoking experience. There?s a slight increase in creaminess, which offsets a tiny bit of acidity that creeps in, but this acidity is subtle and serves to add depth rather than detract from the enjoyment. The construction continues to impress, with a good, tight ash that forms a solid chimney. The ash finally falls off just past the halfway point, which speaks to the cigar?s excellent construction. Final Third: Consistent Mellow Flavor The final third of the cigar remains consistent with the flavors established earlier. The smooth, mellow profile is maintained, and the sweetness from the first third makes a subtle return, rounding out the experience nicely. The complexity remains, though it doesn?t overwhelm, making it easy to savor every puff. The burn remains even, and the draw consistent, right down to the last inch. It?s a cigar that you don?t want to end, as it continues to deliver enjoyment throughout. Conclusion This cigar is an excellent example of quality craftsmanship and thoughtful blending. From the stylish design to the consistent, balanced flavors, it offers a smoking experience that is both satisfying and elegant. The old-style, Cuban-esque profile, with its mellow and smooth flavor, combined with a touch of sweetness, makes it a pleasure to smoke. The slight acidity adds an interesting dimension, while the creaminess ensures it remains well-rounded. The even burn and consistent draw contribute to the overall experience, making this cigar a terrific value for money. Scoring 8+/10, it?s definitely one to try again and recommend to others.

Great cigar. Nice draw, burn, ash. Flavour profile not for me though. Too much citrus and too much pepper. If that's your thing this is for you. If not it's not

Great cigar, burns relatively well, the ash is very good, it got quite long so I decided to ash it before it fell on me and even then I had to tap it 5-6 times to break it.

Had the sample some time ago and only just got around to smoking this one. Good cigar, solid flavours and smooth smoking. Burnt well, no harshness. Good price point given the prices of the sticks now!

A great find. Got this in a sampler pack a month or so ago, and put it away to rest for a bit. Smoked it this morning and it reminded me of Cubans that I used to smoke back in the eighties when I first got into cigars (R&J anyone?). As per the description there are hints of cedar, baking spices and white pepper, plus I also detected hints of coffee and perhaps a little leather in the final third. All these flavours meld perfectly together without any one overpowering the other. Lasted me a good 45-50 minutes and Im not a particularly slow smoker ( although I did smoke it to the point of my fingers burning as I didnt want it to end). Burn was very even and ash holds well. So impressed that I ordered the 9 cigar sampler to see what the rest of the range is like. I suspect I will discover my next box-worthy purchase amongst them. Thoroughly recommended, particularly at this price.
