ALADINO

Aladino embodies every word in that phrase. This cigar is a "Puro" of authentic corojo grown in the Jre Tobacco Farm in Honduras from original Cuban seed of Corojo. It's flavour characteristics are unique to its kind that brings you back to the golden era of cigars in Cuba from 1947 - 1961 with its traditional sizes.

Farming for these cigars starts at the green house and ends for them when they bring down the tobacco leaves from the barn. Curing and aging is their expertise and distinguishes this brand from the rest of the industry. After this process, the tobacco is put through the next stage of slow oxidation and degradation of carotenoids, that gives properly cured tobacco its sweetness, bringing the characteristics and most important its uniform taste.

The aging process can range from a period of 18 - 24 months after the harvest.

CONNECTICUT

The Cameroon range by Aladino uses 100% Corojo tobacco for their binder and filler which is held together with a beautiful thin and delicate Connecticut wrapper from the JRE tobacco farm.

Remember this review is my own subjective view some may not find the same flavours as I do specially advanced smokers who are on to heavier cigars. Ok I don't review cigars unless I really enjoy them, and I mean really enjoy them! I am sort of new to smoking cigars but not in the dark with technical terms used and understanding the pallet of notes that cigars present. This is a light smoke. 50 gauge. Let's begin, to put it simply, this cigar is a creamy light vanilla smoke throughout it's life span which follows as it's base note, as you smoke further into the cigar I would say about 2 or 3 minuets into it; the light vanilla flavour fades and the cigar presents a more floral note with a sweet but light candy floss like flavour lasting through to the mid end, until, gently changing into a more spicy cracked pepper flavour; a little sharp on the pallet and towards the very end the last 6 or 12 hits you take go back to being creamy with a light sweetness on the tongue to finish. I highly recommend this cigar to people who are new to smoking cigars this was a very enjoyable smoke.
