Ailsa Bay Sweet Smoke Release 1.2 & Glass Pack

This gift pack included a hexagonal tumbler, inspired by Ailsa Bay’s state of the art distillery.

Ailsa Bay Sweet Smoke is sweeter and peatier that it’s predecessor. 

Micro matured in Hudson Baby Bourbon casks for six to nine months, a process which accelerates the maturation process, before being transferred into more traditional casks for several years.

A beautifully balanced taste of sweet and smoke, rich vanilla oak, fruit and creamy toffee. A balanced finish of oak sweetness and peaty dryness.

The perfect gift for any occasion! 

Nose: Intense with a smoky hint but overall well balanced with creamy, honeyed sweetness.

Palate: Zingy and peaty with a beautiful sweetness. There's also a slight meaty character with a hint of maple syrup to round things off.

Finish: Relatively long. Again a lovely balance of smoke and sweet, savoury but candied spice notes – due to the Oak casks.
