Introducing Aberlour 14, a new individual batch release that combines the makers careful craft with a deep understanding and respect for the natural maturation process.
This single malt is matured in two different casks: American oak and Spanish sherry, their rich flavours infuse the whisky overtime.
After 14 years the spirit in both casks are married to achieve just the right balance and depth of flavour.
It’s the perfect balance of nature and nurture; rich and spicy yet subtle and elegant.
Nose: Aromas of sweet vanilla and ripe cherry.
Palate: The taste is round and smooth, with soft caramel, blackberry jam and subtle spice.
Finish: All leading to a long, sweet and perfectly balanced finish.
