Alsbo Ruby pipe tobacco is a balanced blend, which is characterised by the Black Cavendish, fine Burley Tobaccos and Golden Virginia grades.

The delightful black and wild cherry type flavour ensures an extremely pleasant taste and aroma which is truly 'remarkable'.

The Alsbo Cherry Pipe Tobacco is a ready rubbed tobacco blend. Ready rubbed tobacco is made up of loose strands and is ready for immediate use in the pipe with no preparation for added convenience and enjoyment.

Tasting Notes

The Alsbo Ruby is a Mild, ready rubbed, pipe tobacco blend characterised by the Black Cavendish base leaves, which are complimented with a careful addition of Virginia.

The blend has then been top dressed with an extremely pleasant wild cherry hint in the background.

Overall the Alsbo blends are noted for their great value and the surprising lack of tongue bite and harshness.

Nice tasting tobacco with a lovely cherry flavour and aroma. A light, nice smoke.


Nice aromas straight out of the pouch when unlit, a good moisture level making it easy to light first time round. Once lit, the aroma releases a delicious scent of cherry and can find hints of Cavendish during the smoke. The strength and flavour profiles are very mild yet sweet and is enjoyable to smoke at any time throughout the day. I would personally recommend this product for those that want to experiment with different flavours. – Michael, C.Gars Ltd
