Stagg Jnr Barrel Proof Bourbon Whiskey - 64.2% 75cl

Buffalo Trace Distillery, has announced the launch of the 13th bottling in its Stagg Jr series.

Stagg Jr – 13th Edition (64.2% ABV) is an uncut and unfiltered Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, which has been matured for 8 years.

The Stagg brand is named after George T. Stagg, one of the legendary craftsmen of Buffalo Trace Distillery, who was responsible for building the most dominant American distillery of the 19th century on the banks of the Kentucky River, now known as Buffalo Trace Distillery.

Since launching in 2013, Stagg Jr, has won five double gold medals, 12 gold medals and various other awards at competitions including the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, New York World Spirits Competition and the World Whiskies Awards.

Nose: Notes of dark cherries and honey on the nose.

Palate: Followed by notes of cream caramel mocha, cherries, toasted oak, dark chocolate and cinnamon on the palate.

Finish: Lingers with hints of cherries, cloves and smokiness.
