Not a bad smoke but no where as sweet as some claim to be. I did not get that unique taste that i got from the Blue Connecticut acid krush. I prefer the Blue Connecticut to the Morado Maduro but Larutan remains a big favourite from Drew Estate.

Don’t usually do reviews but this little fellow is so unique. From the first draw it’s evident there’s some crazy wizardry going on. Heavy aromatic, almost Jostik (incense) aromas fill your palate and indeed the surrounding area for all to sample. Combine this with what appears to be a wrapper made from ever-lasting gob stoppers and you truly are transported to a different plain. The die hard enthusiasts will of course “poo poo” this direction and snot with derision at the mere mention of such a cigar, but don’t knock it till you try it I say! Smooth, comforting with an easy draw. I did get an earthy and tree bark note through this to keep me grounded enough to realise it was just a cigar I was smoking ;-)

This baby is packed with sugar! Going to get diabetes smoking my this hot shot! At first lick, this taste like brown sugar, dates & figs in one! Trust me thatÂ’s sweet with a medium tobacco to balance it all & the draw back/ash is sexy! Deffo going to buy again d-:

Brilliant little stick, the taste of the wrapper may not be for everyone but I found it different which is part of its charm, gives off a slight purple smoke cloud, dont be fooled this little stick packs alot of smoke, 10/10 for me

This is a beautifully unusual cigar. Well worth adding the one or two to your order without feeling bad about the price. One for the Cigar Diary keeper, for sure.. The first thing you notice before lighting is the sweetness of the wrapper, which tastes like its been coated in a natural sugar. But bear with it and you will be rewarded. Ive had much more expensive cigars at this size that offer way less. 1/4 down and the sweetness becomes an aroma. If you dont like this during the smoke, a few wipes with your lips will tame this quicker. Just before and then as you light, you notice complex aromas and then taste of expensive fruity African coffee, textiles, chocolatey caramel and some sort of exotic fruit. The burn and ash was perfectly uniform, maybe a little quicker burning than other cigars this size, but stayed lit and smoked cool to a nice peppery yet happy end in about 30 minutes of steady smoking. The composition was great, effortless draw and held its perfect form right to the finish. In terms of value, UK prices wise anyway, in this range, I think this is hard to beat. Some will just hate them and thats fine. But for those who are open minded and like something complex and new for a change, these are great. Im sure youll get the odd bad one. But these are as good for me as the Maduro Davidoff Primeros, once the sugar comes off the wrapper and the smooth quality flavour is unlocked that is. 85/100
