Rattray's Black Mallory Pipe Tobacco is the foundation tobaccos similar to those of Red Rapparee.

Carefully apportioning of the quantities of seasoning leaf brings about a dark, full-bodied mixture.

The ash is pale grey and similar to a good cigar.
