BLACK FRIDAY - Cohiba Panetelas Cigar - Box of 25
Date Added: Thursday 04 June, 2009
Nothing else comes close at this size - believe me I've tried most alternatives now between £1 and £8 a stick and the Cohiba just blows the rest away. A proper grown up cigar: complex, smooth draw, even burn, tasty, satisfying, top quality throughout. They're not cheap but, as ever, you get what you pay for. Just bit the bullet and bought my first box of 25 - I'd rather smoke one of these a day than 2 Monte Joyitas or 4 Cohiba Clubs.

BLACK FRIDAY - Montecristo No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 03 June, 2009
I've finally broke my cherry and choose the No.4 as my first Habana. Over all a pleasant smoke, rich and fluffy that leaves the mouth wanting more. Smoked it with a Pepsi Max but will choose a Mojito if this weather sticks around! Lovely!!

BLACK FRIDAY - Villiger Rio 6 Cigar - Pack of 5
Date Added: Saturday 23 May, 2009
Flat pressed, square oddities that are actually surprisingly pleasant, in a sharp and spicy way. Needs to be tamed with an equally robust drink, but these chaps definitely have some mileage. Copious smoke production that is strong on taste (especially an acidic earth flavour) but not much complexity. If short smokes are your thing then these could be for you.

Not sure what I can write as this Montecristo No. 4 is as these reviews below.

BLACK FRIDAY - Cohiba Panetelas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 13 April, 2009
I found this cigar very hard work, and for little gain. The flavour was lacklustre, and the second half was both too hot and too bitter for my taste. I'm not sure that this stick quite warrants the typically high cohiba price of its colleagues.

Bolivar Royal Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 12 April, 2009
Have just indulged in my first of these, after a full Sunday roast and appreciated with (firstly) a fresh coffee and (secondly) a dark rum. Currently I'm trying to work out how to muster the money for a full box - this cigar is damned near perfect. Excellent draw from finish to end, never hostile, never bitter, never tarry. Just superb. Strong flavours of coffee and black assam tea, creamy with a cocoa hint, and an aftertaste of smoked mopani wood. Took this fellow all the way to the nub and it could do no wrong. Agree with the other writers that the nicotine hit is something out of this world, and I for one would not consider this cigar on an empty belly. Buy some, and enjoy then on a full stomach, and you might be grinning as much as I am right now.
